I am squishy

multifaceted and jagged

pointy with smooth edges

 glass cutter

and tender to the touch

 I imagine others

diamonds much like me

held up to the sun

refracting a prism

exposing

  undiscovered spectrums

revealing ideas

I follow the color

the shape

the hue

looking back through the lens

to rediscover

it's source

There I find

dissect and interact

with myself

through all the brightness

to find the side

that is unlit

dark and unseen

from the naked eye

By my naked eye

  with the soft nudity

of my imagination

I slowly start to dress

what has been exposed

 and undress

 all that is covered

with too many clothes

making the light dance

darkly and sparkly

 adressing color

Electric

I make myself jump

even while I sleep

Smooshy, colorful

 under constant pressure

a hope diamond

waiting to cut

glittering

in the light

I live in

darkness

Thinking of you

I write my words

with diamond dust
