Enraged and caged.

Barred and scarred.

Broken to all extents.

My soul destroyed piece by piece.

Tomorrow may be my last,

Unless tonight I'm taken in sleep;

Oh how I wish to be free.

Free from the metal bars;

Free from the chaos.

Every night I look to the stars,

Imagining myself as a bird.

Flying freely in the cool breeze,

Without my hands as wings bound.

Oh how I wish to be free.

Take me winged one.

Take me to Heaven or Hell.

Take me from this misery.

Take me far away.

I'll bite the bullet,

Or feel the blade's razor edge.

Ill do anything

To leave this place,

Where I'm treated like an animal.

Oh how I wish to be free.
