"Will this train ever come, Mom?", he said while moving his eyes restlessly over the lone rail track, "I told you not to come this weekend. After tedious 5 days of work, shouldn't I be enjoying? my friends are waiting", he showed displeasure.

"Should I say sorry now?", she said bringing a smile. Still looking at the track he shook his head and smiled sarcastically. He kept on checking his phone, probably to see the running time.

"So", she said, "Did you think about the talks we had yesterday?"

"What talks?", he asked.

Giving a sigh, she said, "The talks of you shifting to our town and home again".

"Mom!!!", he said and came closer, eyes being wide, "How many times do I have to repeat this shit. I will never come to that village again, why don't you get this?"

She too looked straight into his eyes and said, "We are getting old, don't we need you? Do we have anyone else?"

"And the emotional drama starts again, great!!!", he said taking his eyes off and seeing the arriving train. She didn't speak anything further, but just before stepping on to the train, she turned and said, "Do a favor, son. At least don't disappoint me on my funeral".
