My chest hurts when I’m with other girls

I don't like my drive home anymore

because, I don't know where you are these days

When I’m at work, I think about how it started

And how it ended because you didn't want me anymore

Do you remember when you took that greyhound to Long Beach?

You were running away from your family and I picked you up

You said the fumes almost killed you

I would drive 5 hours after work just to see you for an hour

I don't think I’ll ever find love like you again

No one will love you like I did...I hope

After 10 years, I don't know how you could lose feelings for me

You’re out having fun and I’m here losing sleep

Everything wonderful feels hollow

Now, that I’m sober all I can remember is the good times

The last time we talked you made it clear that you’re happy with other guy's

This hurts because you’re all I ever wanted

I buy nice clothes and workout everyday

But all the girls that come and go, I never wanted anyways

I think about your face and I miss our car rides together

I hate you and love you at the same time

You're in every Death Cab song

You're in every awful poem that I write

I miss you coming out the shower in your underwear

When I’m with them, it just never feels right
