Darkness can be a scary thing. Even if nothing is there. Your mind likes to play tricks on you. Making you see, hear, smell, feel, or even taste things that aren’t really there. But what if I told you that the things that go bump in the night are real. They aren’t just some small child’s fantasy or nightmare. They are REAL. That monster in the child’s closet is really there, but maybe it can’t be seen by adults. The boogie man could be a real person perverted by the nightmares of children. Some say magic isn’t real but magic is what dreams and nightmares are made of.

When darkness comes I can see

For when night falls I am me

Can you still not figure out what I am?

I am not a Shepard nor a lamb.

I am a creature of the night

Beware and hide from my sight

For if my eye catches a glimpse

Tomorrow is something you will never miss

From the moment you are born, you fear the darkness. The unknown is something that strikes fear into the heart of any man, woman, and child. The darkness can sense that fear and make your greatest nightmares a reality. So do not fear, or the boogie man may come out to play.
