She was sitting on the grass, soaking wet. Crying her eyes out and no one noticed. No one who heard her cry for help, no one who saw the pain she was in. She was drunk, trying to forget what happened. But she couldn’t, she couldn’t forget his touch. How he held her like she was all that matters, like she was the only one. But she wasn’t, at least not for him.

He left, like nothing happened. Like there was no love between them. Maybe for him there wasn’t but she felt so much. What made her hurt even more. He left again and it made her feel so worthless. She thought her life was over without him. That she could never love anyone like she loved him. But she was so precious, so innocent,... She didn’t realize she was worth so much more. So much more than a stupid boy who didn’t understand the value of love. She would’ve give her life for him at the time. The only thing standing between her and her future wasn’t him. It was her, she didn’t want to let him go. Because loving him was the only thing that connected her to the person she was before him. Someone who was strong and prideful. But she was still that person, the only thing that she needed to do was let him go. He made her weak, he was her downfall. She only needed to realize. Sometimes letting go is better than holding onto something that’s already lost.
