Where rivers sprinted

Stands concrete grey

Blood red flows stilted

Tail lights ablaze amid Dalmatians play

Spotted

Dazzling

Mirrored

By dark

Smog covered paws

Towering higher they sway

Parks are no longer

Taken away.

Speckled sparking glow

Confused stars – brilliance, replaced by cars

Yellow… red… Go!

  A concreate light show

The scales of balance tilts its way

Sea of red stole nature’s sole

No trees of green – no children play

Clotted blood born from coal

Stars perform… above smog coated decay

Concrete jungle so grey and bleak

Gauges a muggle tilting one way

Towers appear each week

Masked covered faces

Hard to tell

Nature cloaked

Colour-blind hell
