A Spark Of Hatred

A spark of hatred glows alone,
In an empty room with dead hope.
Nothing I dream is real,
Nothing I say is heard,
So the hatred grows and grows.

Its larger now,
In width and height.
It's stronger now,
eager to fight.
You block it out
But it doesn't go away.
Yes, it's still there,
Staring at your face.

Its gigantic. Whistling,
While I shout and scream,
I try water, hope, and even torture,
But that only affects me.

The flame keeps growing.
I tell it to stop,
But my voice is blocked out
By its evil thoughts.

I am now,
One hot flame.
Ready to pounce,
Ready to blame.
No one can stop me,
I’m on a roll,
I go out the door,
And never come back home.
