Taken to a place, where I trace my dreams,

sodden oak and a truly weeping willow

as the rain stains this landscape with crystal tears,

I name this place familiar

The water is rising by Melusina’s song

Am I wrong to think a woman can ever truly be loved without condition

For her knight and so many others betrayed their words,

Standing stern as she wept at his feet

To feign loyalty you may as well commit the heart to a cold grave

But lose myself in this maze of evergreen is bliss

Between silver mists and a struggling sun

I run deeper, into the sanctuary of a dream
