Twisted and turned countless times.

Words were changed and altered.

A story so old, rewritten over centuries.

The legend is one of love and sorrow.

A sailor lost at sea.

A widow cries at the wind.

She waits so long for his return,

that she’ll turn to stone and becomes part of the rocky cliff.

For all eternity, she’ll look at the sea and waits for her lover to come back.

But, what if the tales been told wrong?

What if she’s the one who’s missing.

The same stone woman appears across the cliffs of the world?

A face carved in stone.

A figure stuck in time.

Etched by the waves,

Sculpted as he last remembers her.

What if the sea had searched across the world for her?

Building mementos of what she was.

Begging us to tell him, if we’ve seen her.

Will he ever find his beloved?

The ocean is vast and eternity is long.

Even more so, when you’re alone.
