Spider

I killed a spider this afternoon

But give me time to give my reasons

It was either me or him

At any moment, I could have been poisoned

I don't know much about spiders

I was afraid that it would bite me

I was afraid that late when I'm asleep

My life would be taken from me

It was so easy to take the spiders life

Then I was drunk with power

- Now, I feel regret

Because when I ran 'way

When they hung that nigger

I wondered if I was any different
