This is the beauty of these pages,

I can express what never ages.

I have the freedom to any action or choice,

Because nothing here will opaque my voice.

I can admit I love him more than I’ve wanted,

I wish he didn’t take my word for granted.

There is latitude in whatever I write,

No fear, no restrictions or insensitive pride.

I gave it a chance and look where I’ve driven to,

Writing about you without latitude.

‘I love you, my darling’, I wish I could say,

But in the real world I can’t have it my way.

But I wish you could see that these aren’t lies,

Because the most beautiful thing is to look in your eyes.

If I was doubtful once I am not anymore,

Not being your girl I truly abhor.

I wish I could have this brave attitude,

But in front of your eyes my words have no latitude.
