WEEPING WOMAN
L.F. Loza

Far beyond the plane of existence
Lost souls wander the cold
Some are left in the void
Others are forgotten completely
Some manifest in the living world
Laments of the dead

I don't want to hear your wails
Weeping woman
I don't want to see your figure
I don't want to feel your despair
Help is beyond you

Far beyond the plane of existence
Spirits wander, lonesome
Men and women, denied
Crucified and in anguish
Wails, for a love they never had
Laments of the dead

I want you to find the light
Weeping woman
I feel your pain in your presence
I can see the whites of your eyes
Just tell me how

Wails and cries,
The sounds of a soul in anguish
Hopelessness, in the plane of the living
These sounds, these feelings
Inhabiting the physical world
Laments of the dead

You're in purgatorial limbo
Weeping woman
You're bound by your bloodshed
Lives of the innocent, gone
You brought this unto yourself

Denied entrance, your past binding you
Earthbound, time slipping away
Your wails echo in the night
Searching, hoping
There is no light, only darkness
Laments of the dead

And that's how it'll be
Weeping woman
