After an excellent meal and several congratulations and introductions from Tribe members Mariana climbed onto the stage taking the mic.

"Can I have everyone's attention, I would like to congratulate my best friend Zoey and I am so glad that you found Dominic I've had the pleasure of watching you grow up and I have never seen you as happy as you are with Dominic. I know it won't be a problem but as Zoey's best friend and guardian I have to warn you Dominic." Her gaze locks on to Dominic and grows low and cold her gaze deadly

"You hurt her and I will rip out your eyes and shove them down your throat so you can watch as I tear your carcass open!" The room grows eerily silent at Mariana's tone and threat. Then her face turned soft and kind. "Well I've said my bit who's next?" I have always love that about Mariana she can go from sweet to killer in a blink. I know she's got my back.

Next mom walks up on the stage. "Zoey where did time go? It feels like just yesterday that you were beginning your Aikido classes and getting into fights. Now you've found your destined and married and you have gone through so much in the last few months. More than most go through in an entire lifetime. There's no advice I can give you that will ensure that you have a happy life that is up to you. I can tell you this. Don't shut him out especially when things get hard. You can fight a thousand battles, win a dozen wars, slay monsters and conquer castles but nothing will prepare you for married life. Being a Blessed sure, doesn't help. You are to future guardian of our tribe and one day you will take the title of Tribe Huntress." She clears her throat fighting tears.

"Dominic, you don't so much for my baby girl, there is nothing I can do to thank you. I'm sure you've heard just about every threat and are going to hear some more so I'll skip that part. Love her, that's all I can ask of you. I know your recent trials have cut some things from your future but you know there are plenty of other options. Especially in the Tribes, just because one door closes doesn't mean that another won't open for you. I love you both and I am so happy for you."

I turn my head when I hear the chair behind me move and see Cam make his way to the stage. "Zoey, you have always been and will always be my baby sister. I feel like I just turned around and found my Alice leaving you a fifteen-year-old girl, then I turn around again and here you are this amazing, brave, strong, kind, smart and beautiful woman." He lets out a huff of air.

"Dominic as Zoey's brother it's my job to tell you. If you harm her in any way, mentally, physically, or emotionally I swear I will cut off your man parts and hang them on my Christmas tree with all my other ornaments. Take care of her you've done a good job so far keep it up." He raises his glass and that's the end of the speeches. The band resumes playing different songs.

"Would the bride and groom please come up here and do the first dance." Dominic takes my hand leading me to the dance floor. I wrap my arms around his neck and I feel his hands on my waist. The band starts playing, "Don't Deserve You" By Plumb and I hear a very familiar voice, my mother is up on stage singing. It feels even more special that she's singing. I lay my head on Dominic's Chest as we sway to my mother's magical voice.

"I don't deserve your love
But you give it to me anyway
Can't get enough
You're everything I need
And when I walk away
Take off running and come right after me
It's what you do
And I don't deserve you..."

It's like it was written for us. When I first met Dominic, he didn't think he was good enough for me but he couldn't get enough of me. He's proved time and time again that he's everything I need and I have pushed him away but he came right after me. Dominic is perfection I don't deserve him.

"What you thinking about?" I smile at his voice in my mind. "How this song was practically written for us. You didn't think you were good enough for me."

"But you give it to me anyway." He finishes for me, "I have tried to push you away, but you came right after me you always do. You're everything I need Dominic." I look up at him and place a hand on his cheek and stand on my toes to meet his lips with mine.

"I don't deserve you Dominic Reeds." I say out loud. "I don't deserve you Zoey Reeds."His name and mine together sounds so right and perfect. The music stops after a few more songs and Alice comes out with the cake and a huge smile. I suddenly feel guilty.

"I don't think I can eat another bite. I totally forgot about the cake." I say at the sight of it. So perfect. We cut the cake feeding it to each other after I ate my fair share of cake I was ready to pop. I pat my belly. "Good cake. Well I'm done no more dancing or eating I'm ready for a good nap." I let out a deep burp that silences the room.
