I'm sinking my lungs burn as I fight to hold in the air I have in my lungs.

I close my eyes as I fight it. I'm losing this battle. I finally let out some of the air to relieve the pressure but I let it all out. I grab my throat and my head pounds.

I try to take a breath but all I get is water. I try to breathe again even though I'm not going to get any air. The surface is getting farther away and everything is darker now.

The invisible force that is dragging me down tightens its hold on me. I thrash trying to get to the surface but I choke on the nothing in my lungs, I let out the last bubble of air as I stop struggling and the world goes black.

Then I feel a cold hand on me both cruel and kind. A voice says. "I will take your pain now." It's a haunting but soft voice I feel so light then I feel the last spark of life in me die and I sink into the darkness and Death pulls me away into oblivion and nothingness.

I waited for my life to flash in front of me or to see a light and someone reaching out to pull me to it but none of that happens I see nothing. As I sink into the depths, forgotten by the world, lost forever and erased from existence. I become nothing forever bound to these waters I drowned in. I was pulled down and now I am forever gone. Sinking for eternity.
