I am from tall trees on a hidden path and little fish that swam in the rushing soothing creek.

I am from folding boxes and the smell of doe and melted cheese mixed with the sound of frosty the snow man and the forty thieves playing on a small tv screen.

I am from surprises of a fluffy best friend, my mothers tears and a loud cry as little knees bend and little feet ran to meet them.

I am from my grandmothers Kiflie with powdered nut roles filled with generations of laughter.

I am from a little music box that sang encouraging melodies and unforgettable memories.

I am from little notes in a locker that saved my smile and countless chances of gratefulness that was never expressed.

I am from a stuffed little orange cat that endured love and affection but torment all the same and never gave back defection but attention without shame.

I am from the little naïve eyes that looked up in expectation, noticed dilation, frustration, and indignation, but believed the explanation.

I am from disappointing realizations of useless admiration and compelling fabrications.

I am from a child's experience with growth and exploration.
