A A A

Ok, I’ll admit, I’m more of a riddle-solver than a riddle-writer. These are just a few that I know (some of them a pretty lame and/or obvious).

The answers are at the bottom.

1. What gets wetter the more it dries?

2. There was a plane crash, and every single person died, though some were still alive. How can that be?

3. A man stabbed his wife to death with a knife in their car, careful not to leave fingerprints on the body. He left the car and chucked the knife down a canyon, where it was sure not to be found. Since he lived close by, he walked home, leaving the wife in their car. An hour or so later, he got a phone call from the police, asking him to come to the crime scene. They arrested him as soon as he turned up. How can this be?

4. I’m buried when I’m alive but dug up when I’m dead. What am I?

5. What has rivers, but no water, mountains, but no rock, cities, but no buildings, and lands, but no grass?

6. The more you take, the more you leave behind. What am I?

7. What has hearts but no other organs?

Answers:

1. Towels

2. Every ‘single’ person died. All married couples survived

3. The police didn’t state where the crime seen was; only the murderer would know without being told

4. A plant

5. Maps

6. Footsteps

7. A deck of cards

Thanks for reading!
