Poem: I have recently met somebody at my college, somebody whom I have never physically met before in my life, and yet I feel that I have known them previously. Is it that I have been reunited with
a friend from a past life? I believe in reincarnation and I believe such things are possible. This poem explains my feelings about this person.

Kindred.

With a certainty deep inside your heart, a sense of ancient ties,

A first  encounter in the  physical world, yet you  know them from days gone by.

You know not the reason for this  otherworldly recognition, a feeling so strange, and yet so familiar

You know their spirit though you know not from where, it’s an emotion you cannot explain.

Can there be a reason for this instant connection, is  it due to karma and  reincarnation?

are we reunited with those we love in spirit, though they inhabit different physical forms?

These ties that bind one  soul to another, by friendship, kinship and love,

These bonds can never be broken for a spirit never dies, their essence and love survives all.
