Happy endings exist. You just need to know where to look.

Sort of a short story? Idk maybe it's inspirational.

For a while, it's going to be shit.

It's going to suck to go outside, it's going to feel like you're stuck in this feeling of angst and cotton-wool-stuffed skulls.

You're going to have bad thoughts. Things that you promised yourself you would never even consider. You're going to weigh your options, you're going to see the easy way out and reach for the handle.

But things don't last forever.

You will wake up and be proud of yourself for sleeping, you'll have your favourite food without feeling guilty, you'll stroke dogs or stamp in puddles or feed ducks. It won't be ordinary. It most definitely won't always be good. But it will be enough.

When I say the storm will pass, I'm not saying it's easy. I'm saying it's survivable.

I'm saying you're going to have to be stubborn and make restrictions and cry and shower and clean your room. I'm saying you're going to have to talk to someone, get medical help from doctors and mental health from others around you.

There will be a day when you're ok with yourself. You might not love it, but it'll be enough. That, I can promise.
