Recess

“Aria! It doesn't have to end this way!” his brown eyes started to water as he reached out his arms towards her.

Aria looked over her shoulder “No you don’t understand Leonard! I have to do this!” her voice crackeled as tears started building up in her throat.

Leonard wouldn’t let go of her with his eyes as he desperately tried to reach her

“NO! We can have a beautiful life together, you, me and Mr.Thompson!”

“Yupp, I agree” Mr. Thompson said and leaned out from behind Leonard.

“See? Come on now, climb back up again” Leonard said with a somewhat calmer voice than before.

Aria turned around, fixed her eyes on Leonard’s “Remember that I will always love you” and with a dramatic gesture she jumped straight out over the cliff edge.

NO!

“What is going on here? How many times have I told you not to play here!” Miss Carraway looked furious as she walked up to the three kids with firm steps.

“Miss, they forced me to play with them, I promise!” Thompson said the second he noticed her.

“Mr. Thompson! You know that won’t work on me young man. Now all of you three get inside and we’ll sort this out in there!” she yelled as she pointed towards the school building.

“Yes Miss Carraway” the three said in unison as they started walking back towards their school again.
