I was outside of New Jersey leaving for Ohio there was one road called "Hitchhike Medows" it was called that because of the one urban legend that was said of a young women named "Emily" who when people stopped to pick her up off the side of the road she would graciously get in the car and tell you where she wanted to get off at.

Well midway through she would say "Thank you" and usually the people who gave her rides would say something like "you do t have to thank me" but what they didn't expect was for her to completely disappear right in front of they're very eyes. Anyway on this one day I saw a young women waiving cars down for a ride. So I stopped and asked her what her name was as she got into my car. "Emily" she told me.

I asked her where she would like to go? She said somewhere near pine barrens park. So I drove her down the road a few blocks later she said "Thank you" I said your welcome I tried to ask her why she was all alone. But after a few seconds of no answering I realized she wasn't in the car with me anymore.
