Too drunk to care, but I'm drunk enough to share

I walk the line

I took a drink tonight
And went outside
To follow the only white line

A long way I walked
Until I saw two lights
Gleaming at me
I squarely stared until I went blind

The horse rumbled and charged
While bullets pierced the atmosphere
I breathed out my last breath
The air around me lit up bright with fear

Let it all go
I close my eyes
Holding on too tight
I walk the line

Hold my hand tight so it doesn't hurt
I knew you loved me just fine

Let me go, with a kiss one last time
Here I go

I walk the line
