Roses of red
Are covered in glue
Pasted to every wall
The perfect white surface of my innocence
Has developed a strangely  bruised hue

I paint pretty pictures of us
In the blood that was spilled when we broke that trust

Once a promise
Is now most certainly a lie
No need to explain anymore,  love
It's all too clear as to why

Nothing can remain
When nothing stays the same
I've nothing more to lose
And you have no more to possibly gain

So you can just blow me
...(A kiss goodbye)
And I'll see you when the stars go out
On the day the sun is sucked dry of its shine
