 Frozen in a strangers' gaze
I feel the headlights turn on me

Seeing every detailed flaw
Every imperfection,
It's all there is left to see

As empty as I once believed myself to be
Nothing aches as much as being this hollow
Echoing inside my stone walled interior
Is the noise I have never heard
Drowning in the fear that I swallow

Hopefully the lights burn out
And release me from this misery
Hopefully the world suddenly goes blind
And never catches the sorry sight of reality

See no evil
I feel it so near
Hear no evil
Its never rang so clear
Speak no evil
The words are written in a bloody smear

Whatever this is or ever may be
A life or an endless tragedy
It matters not what we make it
But how we take it
