The dusted corners of an unused shelf
Sit worn down and gray with only the company of a few thousands silent words

A carpet lies still
Gathering the dirt of a past long buried

The floor at my feet protests at my indifference
I feel it ready to give any second

Let me fall through the sky
And land at the top of the bottom of the lake
Let me breathe the scent of freshwater oceans
Let me taste the only salt in the sea

The grass grows green
From here it's still so far away
Somehow it seems
The rainbow only comes around
On a dark rainy day
