Although love is coarse ;

my heart is marching

at full force.

A million beats in a stream

vibrant echoes will stampede.

Into the light from the earth above

catching the velocity

with the sound of love.

My life is weakening

my soul is creaking

My mind won't allow my mouth

to release the words worth speaking.

I love you

your everything I need.

Your the selfish charm

that I have withered

from my starving greed.

A thousand years

we return to dust

Still in love ,

but not enough .

We are strong

the pain is rough.

But we overcome

With the sound of love.

Overflowing stream

Drooping tulips

from winter's freeze.

Back bent trees

from a thunderstorm breeze .

A comparison of nature

to define who are we.

Hind chair legs

aged with rings

Old as the land

and the forgotten siege.

We knew that life

would return to dust,

but we lived by the moment

in the sound of love.
