Everyone in the neighborhood knew Mr. Gambit to be a gentleman of few words. He wasn’t visible in the day, but he was visible in the night. Passersby occasionally saw his shadow at the back-right side of his black limousine.

“He’s a weirdo!” He’s a vampire!” rumors spread.

Urban legends too helped in spreading the rumors further. The most common legend was that every vampire needed a golden candleholder, which sometimes floated in the air. Frank and his two, close buddies believed such candleholders existed, and Mr. Gambit was in possession of one.

So obsessed was Frank to get the golden candleholder, that he planned a heist. His friends Jay and Phil were the only people who knew about his mission. They also knew that it would be his first heist.

Three days later, Frank found himself crawling around Mr. Gambit’s compound, evading detection from laser detectors and cameras. He was dressed in black, from head to toe, and a black mask leaving his eyes visible.

His wristwatch read 23:00, as he managed to enter Mr. Gambit’s mansion from the back door. He was determined to get the candlestick before twelve midnight, as it was believed all evil broke loose at that hour. Imagination of fangs piercing through his neck gave him a little Goosebumps.

Somehow, maybe due to a stroke of luck, Frank managed to reach the sitting room, with a pile of golden candleholders in a cupboard. As he was about to open the cupboard, lights suddenly made him visible!

“Good evening Mr. Frank, welcome for dinner…..”He heard.

His eyes rolled almost 180 degrees, only to meet Mr. Gambit’s eyes! He had a long coat, with a sharp collar, and fangs! Right in front of him was a variety of cuisines, with a wonderful aroma that couldn’t outmatch Frank’s fright.

“I was expecting you… My golden candleholder told me…yes, it talks! It told me you were coming to steal it, is that correct?”

The troubled, curious boy was about to escape, only to hear the doors shutting.

“Let’s enjoy this hearty meal, as my bat friends come with dessert!”

Before Mr. Gambit could utter more words, Frank had become hysterical, running around the house.

It took almost twenty minutes for him to hear sounds of laughter from outside. Peering through the attic, he saw cameramen and young boys, who resembled his two friends.

“You bunch of losers!” he shouted at them.

It was all but a stage, organized by his Phil, Jade and Mr. Gambit. The popular Prank Show had picked the trio to stage the prank. Mr. Gambit, all along, was a night casino owner, and CEO of Prank Show! He wanted to popularize his TV Show in his neighborhood.

Previously, the low profiled millionaire had coincidentally met Jade and Phil, as they skateboarded close to a park. They acquainted each other, and made deal; to freak Frank until he wet his pants, as long as they received ice cream for a week for free.
