I took a glass and held it up high
When it was full,
I raised it to my lips, a single sip from the sky

The magic inside
Has filled up to the brim
The distorted thoughts in my mind
Have stared to pick up speed and spin

With no balance and no purpose
All I can really do is fall
And crash land at the bottom
Humpty Dumpty on the wall

You fell and I jumped
Will it never make sense?
Yet I understand so well, why everyone talks in past tense

It's over,
it's done
Build a skyscraper and leap
Drop the memories on the way down
They are much too heavy to keep
For your sorrows are long gone
Give up your soul up to be reaped

Fly away winged-less  bird
Sing me a pretty tune
So pure that it is unheard
So bright it'll out shine the moon
I see you from below
Jumping across each little star
My little Birdie on a star,
How I hope to find you,
Wherever you are
