Interesting. Sheremetyevo throng and poor flight information resemble me other airport terminals in the third world countries. And the shops at marketplace are typical too. Looking forward to see continuation.

The big crowd was crazy. Like being at a crowded rock concert. I don't like airports.

Now I want to try that pizza! I love how you added the photos. I really enjoyed this chapter and am looking forward to reading more. If I was more awake I would say something more but i'm pretty sleepy. Reading this story was the first thing I did today. Did not even have my coffee yet I was totally looking forward to reading this and can't wait to read more!

Yay! I love Russian food but I must convince the chef at Kafe Shater to make me a New York style pizza the next time I am there.

Wow so whoa this is about your real life.
I'm not sure if it's explained here but I'm just so curious, why did you move to Russia? It seems like a big adjustment. I think you mentioned meeting a writer? Are they a mentor, perhaps?
Either way, I appreciated the diary time line in this and the pictures. This story travels well. I get there's a sense of unfamiliarity but also expectancy for this new place. The pictures are fitting- the little cars are adorable. ^^ I wonder how much is truth and how much fiction, and whether it would matter...
well done. ^^

Thanks! Yes, this is actually happening. I'm being vague about the reasons for literary purposes. I'm not moving to Russia, not now at least. Before I leave Lily Flagg I have to deal with a job, a house, and the cat. The apartment is for someone else. A few years down the road...who knows. It's a great big world.

Thanks. I don't have the resources to do a museum but one day I hope to bring a 452 to America and restore it. There are two of them parked about a block from my apartment in Anapa and they are used to deliver the mail.
