Fragrant love

filters inside a honey jar .

As strong and overwhelming

as my beating heart.

She falls to pieces

When I whisper her name.

Although this home is barren .

I feel no shame.

Pinecone aroma

leaves on black water streams.

Births the promised vows

floating gently

on October's breeze.

She undergoes these changes .

Like the world ,

rearranges.

In this lighthouse burn

our desires start to yearn.

I fall to pieces

when I feel the touch

of her hand.

So long , gone,

and lonesome .

I'm reminded that I'm still a man.

It meant the world to hold

it's lasting peace.

And now we are a love

forever free.

It was a gift

my past had brought to me.

Until I received the sunlight

In the rain

and inherited second degree pain.

It's up to me to mend

the telling signs of emptiness

and the pathways that bend.

Give her life direction

cast a smile upon her face.

It's a task of love's correction

it's a matter of grace.

We need a miracle.
