She has a heart of gold with silver intentions but her life is rusty.

Thoughts of free falling from a branch

Even though she is scared of heights

It's the shedding season

Old habits dropping like leaves

New memories waiting to form

Leaves committing suicide, falling from such heights.

Maybe if she falls just like the leaves someone new will come in spring

She knows she can't get past autumn

It's just how her story ends or begins

She has a heart of gold with silver intentions but her life is rusty

No one can see her windy pain causing

all her emotions to drop like leaves

One hurt at a time.

Putting her soul up for rent crosses her mind but who will rent something so bent by pain?

So she vents by dropping everything she is this autumn

Changing with the season but not moving on,

Letting herself wither away with the leaves.

With one swift blow she's blown away

Now she's nothing but one of Autumns Lost leaves,

But my darling she's finally something.
