The sweet memories taste salty as they run down my face.

I wave goodbye, to the time we all took for granted

Laughing a little when I fall down

Brush it off solder, and get back up
This war cannot be fought alone,
And this night is lonelier than most

Tearing myself from the cloth i was cut from,
I want to live a bit differently

A bit dangerously

Sleep will not spend the night

Not when I close my eyes
Not when I lie so still,
Not when I ask for help
Especially when I don't want it

I fill the empty notebook with meaning that can only be found in between the lines

I can almost see the light
Almost feel the hope
Release me from your iron grip
Please don't ever let me go

Reaching deep inside the wells of misery
Agony learns to swim,
I learn to walk with just two feet
A thousand arms reach out to me

Wading through merciless tides
It's only as strong as the fight you give

Take my soul
Six feet above the ground
A million miles below the sky

I can see clearly now the gray is gone
Only blue and pink will cloud my world

I am free for now
I will live eternally under the embrace of summer snowflakes,
Ash that carries the past in the wind
Take me away with the current
Let the flow swallow me whole
Let me find,
What makes me happy, tonight
