For what it is, which is just two paragraphs so far... It's very good. Better than most works I've seen on this site, because it captures the imagination easily and there is no nonsense going on, I appreciate writers who are very straightforward. So far, the setting and this "somber-soot" has been established, and I hope there are some more elaborations in the future, which I'm sure there will be as this is likely a rough draft.
I appreciate the praise and the attention to my writing style. In an ever increasing world of impatience I find it important to keep things straight to the point with rich details to keep the reader engrossed. This is definitely not the end of Myasm and Norman if the mystery shows promise. Thank you for your constructive opinion.
You officially have me hooked! So far this leaves a sense of mystery and gives the reader many questions that are begging to be discovered. I'm looking forward to learning more about this world you've set up. :)
