Haunted House.

It would be fun, that’s what bloody Jamie-Lee had told me. Fun. She must have a very bland definition of the word because nothing about standing in the pouring rain, in minus degree weather was fun. Especially when you had been instructed to dress in a figure hugging black dress with ripped, netted tights and you had started the night in three-inch heels which had left huge blisters on your feet. No, I decided, nothing was fun about this situation.

How I had ended up in this situation I was not sure. It probably had something to do with the copious amount of alcohol I had consumed only a week previously. Typically, I stayed in my house, alone, and content. Until I met the pretty blonde Jamie-Lee. I instantly knew she was my type the day she knocked on the door looking for her neighbour’s dog, young, dumb and living off my mum. Within weeks of exchanging numbers, we had started hanging around. Tonight, October 31st we had decided to visit a haunted house. On arrival she had discovered my house was the haunted house.

I had put a lot of effort into decorating for her, my living room was done up Dexter style, cling film hung to every wall. My kitchen table had been replaced with a blood soaked surgical table, kitted out with restraints. Rusty scalpels lying on an overturned box next to it. The basement was now a torture room, and the bedroom was covered in candles and rose petals ready for a night she would never forget.  Oh how i made her scream. I hoped she would enjoy it, but upon arrival she had seemed unimpressed. Until Huffs or boredom turned into screams of horror.

A haunted house would be fun, that’s what bloody Jamie-Lee had told me. She must have a very bland definition of the word. Nothing about having to leave the country with nothing but my passport was fun. The night had been unforgettable though.

You look like my type, would you like to visit my Haunted House as well?
