Silently sitting under the shadowy tree

The two lovebirds were seen set free!

Nothing did matter; he was so quiet and so was she

All alone! No eye to stare and give them a see!

Her fingers sketched a heart on ground

His hand erased and there was nothing to hound!

‘Show it up; don’t leave it all like this,’ she cried

He walked away; the butterfly in her soul had died!

She went to the room of their best life

Her heart ached as if it stabbed a knife!

‘You’re beautiful my Darling my Ecstasy!’

All echoed and faded as perfume of fantasy!

Something molten she felt on her left cheek

The kiss by his lips now seemed so pale, so weak!

‘Rehmat!’ The voice startled; her eyes hurried

To find the place it came from; she got worried!

Scurrying through that room; giving it a lock

Her lashes lifted upward; real world seemed a mock!

‘Silly are you; can’t comprehend the shenanigans of relations

Sorrows and disappointments are a part of elations!

Jammed in distress, she could not move

Neither found the destiny nor the groove

To let her breathe out all the worries and woes

No one assisted! Thin were the eyes and pink was the nose!

Wandered alone with a scattered mind and broken heart

Badly smitten once; now beseeched to get from it a miles apart!

The broken glass fragments on ground did not hurt

Or they did but not perceived before her soul’s shrieking blurt!

Is it the end or something her mind has dramatized?

Oh if not then why his nonchalance is not stigmatized!

She has thrust herself in the dark cave

See if someone comes and lightens up her way!
