Fall:

I saw it,

That day when the leaves went bowling down my street,

The day when I saw the blossoms twirling to the ground,

The day that had ghastly winds swishing against my cheek,

But I never knew what this season meant,

I learnt more,

As the chestnut shells scattered the pavement,

While the children threw their hands up to the sky lit up with branches,

The red sparrow chanted along the melody,

Chirping away into the waving willows,

Magical,

Flowing,

Gentle,

Night was prettier,

My once wish was flown away out of the window,

But into a flaming fire,

Which had the warmth of my heart,

Who knew that fall was something,

Not just any something,

The life,

Dancing stars with a milk round moon,

And the squirrels sleek tail brushing the twigs,

As they raced upon trees with the leaves,

Falling and tumbling,

Onto the dark bed of the pile,

No one knew the difference when the flowers stopped blooming,

Or when the leaves went crumbling brown,

Or the heat of the crazed wind,

Because fall was a different sun in their eyes,

But...to me,

Fall is the prettiest season on this planet.
