Thank You mom for being here always. How can we not talk about family when that is all we got.

To the Person I Look Up to the Most,

Mom, I don’t even know where to begin. You have been with me through fire and ice, thick and thin, the good times and the bad. I couldn’t imagine my life without you.

Ever since I was born, I've been your “Baby Girl”, and today, even though I’m older and in college, I still love it when you text me, “Love you, baby girl.” Thank you for all the amazing themed birthday parties, great trips, and the little things you taught me early on in life. You raised me as a Christian who forgives people and is always kind. You showed me what it means to be a follower of Christ. You taught me to never give up and follow my dreams. You give advice that I will cherish as I move on into my adult life and away from being under your roof. And even though at some moment I might have disliked you, you said no to things I now understand why. You taught me that some boys just aren’t worth the heartache or tears--that I’ll move on and I will find my king sooner or later.

I know I can be frustrating. I know I'm a messy person, and I don’t like cleaning. I know I stay up too late some nights, and then I'm super tired the next day and have no desire to do anything. I know I spend way too much money on unnecessary things, only to come back a week later and ask you for money. But because of you, I want to try to be a, cleaner, more awake, and better-budgeted person.

So, to the person I look up to the most, thank you for always being there for me and loving me. I couldn’t imagine having anyone different as a mom.

Your Baby Girl
