Alice as a kind of goth misfit -- I'm liking that idea very much. The dialogue was excellently done, Reaper. Can't wait to read more!

Fine writing, Reap; kept my attention, which is no mean trick--Alice's father is one mean-ass dude!

Glad you liked it. I'm honored that it drew you in. Hopefully if you read more of it it will still keep you tuned in. No one has said that it's hard to get their attention and I'm happy you're the first. A challenge it is.

Miss Midnight

I love, love Alice in Wonderland and basically flock, ah, more stampeded to a story with a hint of that element, lol. Great descriptions. Alice is nicely portrayed, with her gloomy thoughts and curious nature. Yes, I said curious, lol. I love that you're turning it a bit darker, but still use the trademarks that make this Alice, lol.
Argh, I wanted to jab her father in the throat but squealed in delight when she fought back and bit him.
I liked the overall flow and the pace. This will no doubt turn into a great story, and I'm happy to jump down the rabbit hole with you. Excellent Chapter!

Thanks Midnight. I hope you enjoy the others as well.

Oh so this is like a darker version of Alice in Wonderland. I like this. :)

Precisely. I'm glad you're enjoying it. The story gets better down the road and yet, there may be some parts that will make your cry for some characters, but I'm not going to spoil that. After the first book you read, this will be the next one to be finished and edited. If you really love the book at the end, I am making a five book series out of this Wonderland story of mine, plus an off series too. So there will be lots of Wonderland to read. Well you have jumped down the rabbit hole with Alice, hope you follow in the footsteps of her adventure. Thank you.

Oh, this is going to be very interesting. I can tell I'm going to enjoy where you take this tale and change it from the one we know. Anyway, this is a good start and I look forward to knowing what happens next :)

Alice sounds like she has a very difficult life, having to cope with a father who is physically abusive. I really love your descriptions and the way you make the reader feel like they're right there with Alice. I could really sense her loneliness. Well done! :)

Thank you very much, Brianna. Im glad you like it. However, the book is not completely edited, still working on it, but I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for reading.
