This is a single paragraph I had to do for school. My ELA teacher gave me many compliments on this (in fact, I got a 95!) So I thought I would post it as my first writing piece.

Ever wonder how an idea came to be? It’s not as easy as you think! Creating an idea requires a problem, combining ideas with others, and the correct environment to further develop the idea. An idea first arrives from a problem or want. If everything was perfect in the world, there would be no more ideas because there aren’t any problems. For example, the lightbulb was invented to solve the problem of smoke from candles and lamps that made it harder to breath. Meanwhile, ice cream was invented because someone wanted a cold, sweet treat. Once you have formulated a solution to the problem, you need to combine it with other ideas. If you want to create a hybrid between a doughnut and hamburger, you would be combining it with other ideas such as the flour used to make donuts or the idea of processing beef into a burger. You could either look up these ideas from others or talk to your friends and get ideas from them. Ideas need the proper environment to further develop, and you can do this after identifying a solution or combining ideas. Say you wanted to create an app that allows you to find a flash drive. By further developing your idea in the correct environment you can figure out fine details such as what App Builder you’re going to use or what materials will you place in the flash drive that will allow the app to track it. That is the important stuff you need to figure out in order to make your idea into a physical thing. By identifying the problem, creating a solution, combining ideas, and developing the idea in the correct environment you can create something that could make people happier.
