Takin' In Thee Air

Loveliness has gone away

I am not in love today

I can throw my heart in the gutter

I don't need it any longer

Thee hours drag by very slowly

And I am no longer even growing

The stories told induce me into a coma

No love I feel ever stays in my heart

And no matter what

I always end up fucked

Burned from every passing emotion

Left to wander a world with nobody

Not to mention never attracting anybody

I could lose myself within my thoughts

But that won't give me any one

I refuse to put in the work

Because having some one

__should never have to be that hard

Feelings never go that far

When the winter comes

__and I'm still alone

Only the cold air will keep me company

And I'll get lost in the wind

Blowin' around and around me

Pushing thru my soul

And filling me up

With air

My only friend
