Winter morning's glow

Reflecting the chimney

of a Cabin's smoke .

Drifting past

the tree carved hearts

Where this message of love

begins to depart .

Seeing little man in black work horse boots .

And hidden past the business suits.

Fast moving echos

silently,

gone but not forgotten memories.

December always thought of you.

Awaiting your return

when the fall was through.

My darkest trains ,

My life thrown away.

My loneliness insane .

My teardrops in flames.

I speed to the cabinet

in the speed of light

to drown the pain

with Bourbon's might .

I stagger into the promise vows

and into a love

I can't arouse.

Seeing my Angel forming

in the snow .

Lighting up from winter's glow.

December always waits for you.

For your return

when the fall is through.

All of my dark trains

I let them all go.

I freed my trains

I thought you should know.

And then I gathered my vision

in these blood shot eyes.

I forced myself and my heart to rise.

Rising past the emptiness .

The long dark curls

in a summer's dress .

The clamminess in my palms

from two dead hands

when your soul was called.

I doused the floor in gasoline

and lit the match on a curtains beam.

The whole place tessled up in flames ,

but through the smoke

I saw your face.

December always waits for you .

For your return

when the fall is through.

My dark trains

I let them all go .

I freed my soul

I thought you should know.

I thought you should know.

I thought you should know. .
