Every day is colored grey;

It spins like a top does.

The boring bugs that are called adults

Ate my dream bit by bit.

I will grow and barely become myself;

I would be an adult who is dissatisfied.

I just have to cope and smile

Even though it might be forceful.

Nevertheless, it is a bit sad.

The skies were grey that day and the rain didn’t have mercy to anyone who passed by. One little girl sat in a shed, observing everything under her little eyes. She was waiting for her mother to pick her up when suddenly, an old man with a bucket hat sat beside her. He let his hat down and placed it on the seat, including his wet umbrella.

Out of the blue the old man spoke, “Child what is your dream?”

“My dream?”

“Yes. What do you want to do in the future?”

“Well, I don’t really know.”

The man chuckled. “Is that right?”

The man bent down a bit in order to be eye leveled with the child.

“Don’t you have anything in mind at all? Even just a simple one?”

The child ducked down her head. “No, mister. Nothing comes to mind at all,” said the child a bit disappointed.

The man found the child’s pout adorable and a smile formed on his face. He bowed his head down a bit and chuckled then faced the child again. He patted the child’s head and said, “It’s alright. No need to be worried about that for now. You’re still a child and you still have a lot of years to go. I’m sure that you’ll know it someday.”

“But what if I really won’t know when I’ll be old?”

The mister replied, “You’ll know. I’m sure of it. Every person has a dream to be realized in his heart somewhere. One just needs to figure out what it is.”

“Time will take care of everything,” assured the man. “So for now, just focus on being happy and enjoy your life, okay? Your experiences will help you along the way and when you figure out what your dream is someday, God will help you achieve it if you really desire it.”

And with that last phrase, the man left, leaving the child a small journal notebook in her hands. The child opened the first page and read aloud the written words on it, “When a person really desires something, God conspires all of the universe to help that person achieve it.”

Yesterday’s and today’s temperature was very different

So contrails were created.

It is too suffocating to stay here,

So I breathed out deeply,

What was the dream that the little child had?

I pulled out the old diary

And it said

Contrail (MoonMoon)

Life is about being lost. It's just a series of continuous wandering.

Even if it might be hard, continue searching for what it is; your dream.

In life one must be determined and not just go with the flow. Keep this in mind.
