She covers me like a blanket

in the cold dark night.

Glaring into those soft brown eyes

I know it's right.

To sleep,

To dream ,

To feel Love's steam .

In my heart ,

In passion's shadow .

There is a fear in need of peace .

Living far beyond the gallows.

Where the forgotten nooses weep.

Upon your shine

I feast my eyes

for you are a gorgeous light.

In the dead silence of the night

You are an intimate surprise.

My dreams are gray.

My alibis fade

losing hold of my secret addiction

clinging to the flesh of friction.

I send chills up her spine

shrouding her with growth

from window rays of sunshine.

I feel a connection

in the never ending spire .

Knowing that we need more love

than most bodies do require.

So we await .

In the gray dreams of suspension .

Awaiting to let ourselves go crazy

as we feel the urges and tension. .
