The reviews are in, and 'what?'

One's good, the next a punch in the gut

From one extreme to the next, all over the map

Either I'm a genius, or a clueless sap

I'm so confused, don't know which to believe

Just where the truth lies; I cannot conceive

I know I'm not a genius, but I don't believe I suck,

I'm so confused and troubled, and it's just my luck

to run into a truly gifted one, with all the answers in life,

a verbal-weapon writer, who slings a mean knife

I think I'll just keep on writing on;

and believe in myself; negative be gone!
