Five years have passed since you've been gone, I miss your loving smile.
Your beautiful voice, your caring ways are with me all the while.
Five years have passed since you've been gone and everyday I wonder.
What you would do if you could be here just a little longer.
Would you hug my children tight and whisper in their ear?
Your insight and your wisdom for only them to hear.
I love you Mom more than you know.
Your stories aren't gone.
With every memory that I share, your spirit carries on...
