When I dug back into mythology, I found that the ancients called Uranus the father of heaven. Then I understood there was a big battle between the powers for power. THrough that came this poem.

Uranus was the father of heaven,

To him power was given.

Saturn administered the fatal blow and took power,

It was all over before help came from another.

Uranus cast from his throne,

Saturn will take power alone

That goddess of a woman, Venus

Was born from the blood of Uranus--the genitals

The mother over all of us--resider in the halls.

As the enemy came to capture the goddess,

Fishes came and you can guess--they hid her behind the walls.

Saturn was now striving against Jupiter,

But Rhea had a plan.

Saturn became the child eater,

But Rhea did all she can.

She hid Jupiter in a cave,

And by doing so, he was save.

When Jupiter became a man,

He too had a plan.

He threw thunderbolts at Saturn, then ran,

Now the throne belongs to Jupiter and his clan.

Not willing to let power go,

Old age Saturn, was cold, determined, and slow.

But from Jupiter, he took a heavy blow.

Jupiter with his brothers Neptune and Pluto,

Shared the inheritance.

They looked around and at a glance,

Jupiter got the sky,

His throne way up high.

Neptune received all the fishes in the sea,

Mystical and mysterious,

A home that was watery.

Pluto got the dark underground,

Where the bark of his three-headed dog

Was the only sound.
