It rains like there's no tomorrow. In a small attic She awaits him to come back. Take her by the hands and say… I’m here. The memories of their unsleepy nights Of the rumors in the streets And the whispers in her ears. The cold outside and the warmth inside. Not knowing if there's day or night. Just knowing so well their bed. His hands touching her slowly. It rains like that they should stay in that room Forever. It always seems that when she’s just about ready To forget him The memories reborn without asking anything. Them two, again and again. No words, no questions. Just their bodies listening to their souls. It rains like there's no tomorrow. They make love like there's no tomorrow. Hold him first, hold her first like it always rains. Long, warm, silent hugs. Know her for the first ever lasting time. Know him for the ever lasting first. Two strangest brought together by the rain. Two parts of the same search. So different and so close. Look, touch, smell. Wait. Then start again. Look at her and embrace everything, Touch her with your eyes closed, Smell her skin to remember where to come back. Over and over again.
