Lets get a real tree this year, remember? Like the one we had as kids.

when everything was perfect at Christmas time.

Lets sit by the fire and play board games, we can be kids just for today.

Because it's Christmas time.

Lets have snow this year and a little puppy by our side, and let everything bad pass by.

Because everything is perfect at Christmas time.

But darling we almost forgot, our life is no movie, and nothing is perfect all of the time.

So lets make a promise, just between you and I,

to be as childlike as possible this Christmas and beyond as far as life allows.

And darling there is just one last thing to say.

Remember if not in person, I will be with you in every other way,

this Christmas day.
