A Light That Leads

I can still feel your smile

Your motherly touches

Etched upon the sun’s light

Which reminds me of your caresses

To people’s hearts

Which all beat for you

With devotion that never parts

All the angels remind the falling dew

Of you, the queen of our hearts

Heavens will grow violet fields for you

& the skies will send stars

That emit your face’s light

Which lightened our lives in plight

Our hearts tremble in need

Of your warmest love

Of your light that leads

Your voice echoes in our thoughts

& our pain bleeds

For those sinful hands cost

The sleep of your blessed soul

Amidst a world without your angelic beads

I hear your innocent laugh

That spreads life to empty souls

Yet we wait to see your grace,

Your humble smile,

Your perfect face,

In the dress you wore in that aisle…
