Gripping first chapter. Loved it. I am trying to think of some helpful feedback to give you, but I had so much fun reading this. I love the concept. I would never have thought of adding werewolves to this legend/history. Interesting!

I can be squeamish, so brief parts were 'icky,' but they fit the story and had to be done to move it forward. Well done.

thanks' so much for your comments, I really appreciate you giving time to read it and commenting.

Oh yeah! the icky bits do continue throughout the story, but that's because I wanted to show the brutality of the period and also I like writing gory scenes, (sorry, lol)

Dried Wolf's Bane.... now there's classic strategic tactical military planning if ever I witnessed it! Outstanding, Celtic-Scribe63! Raw medieval alchemist wizardry at its finest!

thanks' so much for taking the time to read and comment.

It's much appreciated.

NB: If you liked Malachi Stone, then why not check out, The Egyptian:The Carnelian heart. I got the idea for that after writing Malachi and made it into a sort of prequel.

I will get around to reading more of your work, I promise, but at the moment I've got a heavy workload and some killer shifts.

Thanks' so much for reading it. I hope you will stick with Malachi and Esteban and their ongoing adventures. Malachi I have to say, is guilty writing pleasure of mine.

Absolutely epic! My heart was racing and the way you described the wolves approach to the camp was truly cinematic. I love the way you write, clean and concise and your descriptions are simply astounding.

I am thrilled that you have taken to Malachi Stone, he is by far my favourite creation.

Funny enough! you are not the first reader to describe my writing as cinematic.
I actually try to visualize each scene as though I were watching a movie and then describe as best I can what is playing in my mind's eye.

Thank you for the great compliments.

Slowly making my way through your writing and figured Werewolves is a good place to start after the Santa story. Great chapter! Back to reading, just letting you know I was here. :)

No problem thanks' for revisiting my portfolio. I hope you enjoy Malachi! he is my favourite character, a good old fashioned action adventure with a grumbly sullen hero.

CS, I am convinced now that you must be the undisputed master of the epic Medieval classic adventure!

Malachi is an awesome hero, so rugged, manly and he knows how to handle a broad sword...yet he has such a caring human element to him...giving his ex friend his last rites and a burial...after he attempted to kill him...

Looking forward to chapter 2, after I make myself a cup of Douwe Egberts...
